Lake Juliette, GA, 11/28/03. Cold and very windy. Lake haze distortion was high. Most birds were far in the distance.
The place seems to have a lot to offer. Some of the birds that I have found there over the last month or so have included: Ross's Goose, Surf Scoter, Sanderling, Long-billed Dowitcher, Dunlin (22 at once), Least Sandpiper, Pectoral Sandpiper, Solitary Sandpiper, Greater Yellowlegs, Eared Grebe (15+ at once), Horned Grebe, Bonaparte's Gull (70), Herring Gull, Bald Eagle, Osprey, and lots of ducks including Northern Pintail, Canvasback, Redhead, Red-breasted Merganser, Common Goldeneye, and Greater Scaup.
