Bonaparte's Gull (50+)

Common Goldeneye (at least 12)

Red-breasted Merganser (1)

Bald Eagle (6)

Horned Grebe (50+)

Herring Gull (about 25)

Eurasian Collared-dove (1)

Common Loon (20+)

Michael Beohm and I found this Lesser Black-backed Gull at West Point Dam on 3/6/06. They are listed as Accidental inland in the current GA checklist.

Other species seen included:

Common Goldeneye, Redhead, Northen Pintail, Greater Scaup, and Red-breasted Merganser.

I found a LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL at Clarks Hill Lake on 03/01/2014. The head had a lot brown streaking and the legs were yellow.
